As the sun rises early each morning, our local fishermen leave the West Country ports in their small boats no longer than 10m. Our skippers are all aware of the importance of sustainable fishing, and use traditional techniques such as rod and line, trammel nets and hand line to catch the fish. We are proud that our fishermen all comply with the Responsible Fishing Scheme and the Great Dorset Seafood Campaign, fishing seasonally to preserve the population of underwater wildlife for future generations to come.
