The name Vinny is derived from the old English word ‘vinew’ which means mould. This old Dorset recipe had been lost for years until Mike Davies resurrected it! Made on his family farm near Sturminster Newton from hand skimmed Friesen Milk, this slightly crumbly blue Cheese has a pleasant creamy texture yet is lower in fat than other cheeses.
